About the role
As a Senior Process Engineer, you will design and optimize manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor manufacturing technologies. You will develop atomic layer deposition (ALD) processes through process optimization and integration to turn device requirements into manufacturable processes.
What you'll do
- Design, collect data, analyze, and compile reports on complex process engineering experiments for multiple products. - Utilize techniques, define methods, and apply new technologies to perform hardware characterization on complex systems. - Generate internal and external documentation, technical reports, presentations, and process engineering specifications. - Measure film properties, train engineers in measurement techniques, and guide them in data interpretation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. - Communicate directly with customers to resolve complex process engineering issues with limited supervision. - Identify, select, and partner with vendors and suppliers, and lead functional teams or projects as needed.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field. - 7-10 years of related experience. - Hands-on experience with thermal and/or plasma-enhanced ALD. - Solid technical foundation across materials science, physics, and chemistry covering precursor behavior, nucleation and growth mechanisms, and growth in complex 3D structures. - Knowledge of ALD hardware, including vacuum systems, plasma sources, and precursor delivery. - Demonstrated conceptual and practical expertise in complex problem solving.
