About the role
This role supports CMP and Wet manufacturing operations within DM5, a high-volume 300mm wafer Fab running Analog Technologies. You will develop and implement improved manufacturing methods, procedures, and processes to optimize yields, machine operations, and cycle time.
What you'll do
- Support manufacturing operations and implement improvement plans targeting efficiency, cost reduction, quality improvements, and new product support. - Perform lot and equipment dispositions to support continuous production flow and minimize cycle time. - Identify systematic process or equipment-related problems and communicate findings continuously to engineering staff. - Support manufacturing ramps through equipment and process startup execution and process experiments (SWRs). - Participate in data analysis, problem resolution, and train Process Engineering Technicians. - Create reporting and visualization tools to enhance team efficiency and document learnings in disposition specifications.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. - 2+ years of relevant Process or Equipment engineering experience. - Strong foundation in statistical process control, engineering change control, and process release strategies.
Nice to have
- Process or Equipment Engineering experience within Wet or CMP modules. - Familiarity with 200mm wafer fabrication, process control, and yield enhancement techniques. - Experience with equipment maintenance, quality events, and root cause analysis of process variations.
