About the role
This role develops, designs, and architects new features in the hardware modelling platform while evaluating performance for Arm NPU IP. You will contribute to product specification, collaborate with ML hardware design, verification, and compiler teams, and drive technical direction for hardware models.
What you'll do
- Develop, design, and architect new features within the hardware modelling platform while evaluating performance.
- Collaborate closely with ML hardware design and verification teams to contribute to product design, specification, and verification.
- Work with the compiler team to optimize hardware performance.
- Support the hardware model for use in customer engagements.
- Lead larger work packages, drive technical direction, and mentor junior engineers.
What you'll need
- Master’s or PhD degree in Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, or similar technical field.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
- Strong analytical skills to develop solutions for complex problems.
- Ability to cooperate closely within a diverse engineering team to fulfill common targets.
Nice to have
- Experience in HW design and/or modelling.
- Experience in SystemC and HLS flows.
- Source control skills with Git, Gerrit, or Repo.
- Experience with CI/CD, agile SW development, continuous integration, and Test driven development.
- Experience with machine learning applications and frameworks.
- Sound understanding of signal processing or control systems.
