About the role
This role involves system design and firmware feature development for enterprise SSD products, with a focus on NAND operation and test modes.
What you'll do
- Develop system design and firmware features for enterprise SSD products.
- Utilize knowledge of NAND operation/test modes to enhance performance, endurance, and power.
- Conduct system/component level testing and validation on test platforms, including drive-level testing.
- Contribute to integration efforts with cross-functional teams.
- Support component and drive-level FA efforts.
- Review product specifications, provide cost/performance competitive NAND memory solutions, and generate reports.
What you'll need
- BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5+ years, or MS/PhD with 2+ years of related experience.
- Experience in one or more of: 3D NAND device/design, SSD testing, NAND/SSD Failure Analysis.
- Experience coding in Python or C++.
- Experience with Bash scripting.
Nice to have
- NAND device/design experience.
- Knowledge of hardware design and validation.
