About the role
This role owns production scheduling for critical and NPI products across the PMTC factory and drives on-time delivery.
What you'll do
- Build, maintain, and prioritize the production schedule for critical revenue and NPI products; manage changes, constraints, and material/capacity conflicts to protect committed ship dates.
- Act as the scheduling interface between Operations, Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain; run cross-functional reviews and escalate risks to delivery early with recovery plans.
- Drive results on quality, schedule, and cost — track KPIs (OTD, cycle time, WIP, yield, cost variance), identify root causes, and lead corrective actions.
- Serve as MES subject-matter expert: own routings, work-order flow, configuration, user support, and system improvements; represent manufacturing in MES/ERP enhancement projects.
- Lead manufacturing data analytics — build dashboards and reports (Power BI / SQL / Excel) that give leadership visibility into schedule health, capacity, and performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements in planning, execution, and reporting; document and standardize work.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experiences) in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 5+ years in production planning/scheduling or manufacturing operations, preferably in high-mix electronics or test & measurement.
- Hands-on MES expertise (e.g., Camstar/Opcenter, or Keysight's MES) and ERP/Oracle familiarity.
- Strong analytics skills — SQL, Power BI/Tableau, advanced Excel.
- Proven ability to work independently with cross-functional stakeholders and drive results.
Nice to have
- APICS/CPIM or Lean Six Sigma a plus.

How we counted: 2481 open Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering (Manufacturing Equipment) roles from 79 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 15 Oct 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Process, Fab & Equipment family row.
