About the role

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer supports semiconductor test operations involving automated test equipment (ATE), wafer probers, handlers, and associated factory systems. The role supports new product introduction (NPI), engineering sample evaluation, and production test readiness for Analog, Power, MCU, and EP semiconductor products.

What you'll do

- Support NPI, engineering sample, and low-volume production programs, including test cell readiness. - Oversee setup, docking, and undocking of ATE systems with probers and handlers according to daily engineering and production needs. - Lead diagnosis and troubleshooting of handlers, probers, and testers, coordinating with engineers and vendors to restore operation. - Debug ATE hardware, including load boards, probe cards, and socketed test fixtures, to drive root-cause resolution of intermittent issues. - Analyze yield, throughput, and equipment-utilization data to drive corrective actions while supporting factory systems, lot tracking, and automated data collection. - Oversee preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration support for ATE, handlers, and probers while maintaining logs to support ISO-9001 audits.

What you'll need

- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or equivalent in EE, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. - 7–10 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor manufacturing or test operations on ATE systems. - Proficiency with wafer probers and handlers, including setup and operation. - Experience with hardware inventory management systems. - Knowledge of circuit design, circuit troubleshooting, semiconductor test flows, and industry test standards. - Basic proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

Nice to have

- Experience with MES, UNIX proficiency, and Python scripting. - Experience with test platforms such as Advantest 93K, Teradyne Eagle/UFlex, Cohu DiamondX, or SPEA DOT800C. - Experience with TEL or Accretech wafer probers. - Experience with Talos, Seiko, JHT, or Hontech handlers.
