About the role
The Senior Manager PQE leads the Product Quality Engineering team to ensure end-to-end quality and reliability performance across product lifecycles in accordance with international standards and customer requirements. The team is also responsible for ongoing Reliability Monitoring through ORT.
What you'll do
- Lead and develop the Product Quality Engineering team, providing coaching, performance management, and capability development.
- Define and execute the product qualification and quality assurance strategy across new product introductions, product changes, supplier changes, and technology transfers.
- Establish governance processes to ensure compliance with internal requirements, customer expectations, and industry standards including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IEC, and JEDEC.
- Review qualification outcomes, assess quality and reliability risks, and deliver final quality approval for product release and change management.
- Drive risk management and cross-functional problem-solving for qualification issues using failure analysis workflows, 8D, and FMEA.
- Monitor key quality and reliability metrics, identify emerging risks, and manage Reliability Monitoring through ORT.
What you'll need
- Proven track record of leading cross-cultural quality engineering teams and driving execution of strategic quality objectives.
- Technical understanding of semiconductors and manufacturing processes across wafer fab, assembly, and test.
- Deep knowledge of industry quality and reliability standards, qualification methodologies, and failure analysis workflows.
- Hands-on experience with quality tools including FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis.
- Experience with standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IEC, and JEDEC.
- Availability to undertake international travel at short notice.
