About the role
The Senior Manager, Manufacturing Quality Engineering is responsible for leading manufacturing quality across two Entegris manufacturing sites in Texas and translating global quality standards into consistent site execution.
What you'll do
- Lead manufacturing quality across two Texas sites through site quality leaders and teams, establishing clear ownership and prioritizing resources based on risk.
- Translate global quality standards, policies, and procedures into coordinated execution plans while maintaining audit readiness and timely closure of findings.
- Own quality improvement plans to reduce defects, scrap, rework, cost of poor quality (COPQ), customer complaints, and manufacturing escapes.
- Ensure sustained application of SPC, MSA, FMEA, control plans, APQP, PPAP, 8D, A3, and DMAIC methodologies across site processes.
- Partner with site Operations and Engineering to improve process capability, product conformity, and yield through effective process controls and risk management.
- Serve as the quality escalation leader for the two sites, communicating containment status, recovery plans, and risk assessments to senior leadership.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing quality, including leadership responsibility for quality teams and manufacturing quality outcomes.
- 5+ years of quality management experience with demonstrated ability to lead through site leaders or cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated success implementing quality systems and delivering sustained improvements in manufacturing quality, process capability, and cost of poor quality.
- Experience with customer and supplier quality requirements, audit readiness, and compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards.
- Practical application of quality tools including SPC, MSA, FMEA, control plans, APQP, PPAP, 8D, A3, and DMAIC.
