About the role
This role serves as a key product unit (KPU) process technician supporting process engineers on thin film deposition equipment and metrology tools for semiconductor packaging applications.
What you'll do
- Support process engineers on thin film deposition equipment and metrology tools for semiconductor packaging applications. - Operate advanced processing equipment and metrology tools with defined recipes to run experiments, capture measurements, and perform basic analysis. - Assist in wafer fabrication, experiment setup, data collection, and technical documentation. - Assist in technical troubleshooting and continuous improvement (CIP) of process-related actions. - Comply with all EHS standards, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), and handle materials in accordance with quality standards.
What you'll need
- BS degree in a physical science, specialized AS degree, or equivalent professional training in materials science, analytical techniques, engineering technology, physics, or a related field. - 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a semiconductor R&D, manufacturing, or failure analysis laboratory environment. - Experience operating metrology tools for thin film characterization. - Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Office applications. - Flexibility to support a swing shift and/or weekend schedule.

- Sample preparation experience using precision cleaving tools.
