About the role
This position is a member of the Manufacturing Services group and is responsible for test development activities that support R&D as well as manufacturing factories. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and scaling factory test infrastructure, calibration routines, and process controls inside a 24/7 cleanroom manufacturing environment.
What you'll do
- Develop, deploy, and maintain factory and custom R&D test infrastructure to support multiple product teams simultaneously. - Formulate, execute, and analyze design of experiments (DOEs) and maintain test infrastructure capability using SPC and statistical techniques. - Develop calibration and validation routines for test equipment while tracking tool health, process health, and KPI goals. - Create, improve, and maintain test and process SOP and OCAP documentation, providing equipment training to operators and technicians. - Support 24/7 factory operations, material flow improvements, and tool uptime inside the cleanroom.
What you'll need
- Minimum 2 years of semiconductor, analog, or similar test and measurement experience. - MS or equivalent degree in an engineering or technical discipline. - In-depth knowledge of optics, mechanics, and electronics theory. - Hands-on laboratory skills operating high-speed test equipment such as network analyzers, pattern generators, oscilloscopes, and error detectors. - Cursory knowledge of programming or scripting languages. - Demonstrated experience applying data and statistics using mathematical, engineering, or statistical software packages.
Nice to have
- PhD in an engineering or related technical field. - Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
