About the role
This role involves sustaining manufacturing processes and product quality assurance activities, and leading continuous improvement projects to drive safety, process efficiency, and reduce product variation.
What you'll do
- Sustain manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
- Drive improvements in safety, yield, throughput, cost, and process capability through data-driven analysis.
- Own product quality throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, from incoming materials through finished goods.
- Maintain process controls, risk management tools, and quality systems, including SPC, FMEAs, and Control Plans.
- Lead root cause investigations for manufacturing and quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Reduce process variation through statistical analysis, process control strategies, and engineering solutions.
What you'll need
- BS or MS in Chemical Engineering, or similar related engineering field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Documentation and technical writing skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical data.
- Project management and organizational skills.
Nice to have
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred semiconductor industry.
- Proven experience leading complex investigations, implementing process control systems, and improving stability and capability.
- Expertise with Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and other structured problem-solving tools.
- Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and cleanroom requirements.
