About the role

What you'll do

- Partner with Global Product Support (GPS) and field teams to install, start up, and verify tool performance against specifications at customer sites. - Engage early in demo labs and support initial tool builds at manufacturing facilities to ensure readiness for customer shipment. - Train local Field Service Engineers (FSEs) and confirm local teams are fully qualified to independently support tools. - Support regional escalations during NPI and drive rapid issue resolution. - Travel domestically and internationally as required (typically 50% minimum, including extended travel).

What you'll need

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science) or equivalent technical training, OR an Associate’s degree in a technical field with 6+ years of in-fab experience. - 3+ years of experience at ASM or directly related experience with ALD, PEALD, EPI, PECVD, or CVD. - Experience supporting tool installation, qualification, and ramp in semiconductor fabs. - Knowledge of structured troubleshooting and hypothesis-based problem solving. - Familiarity with escalation management and field support models.

Nice to have

- Experience with ASM platforms such as XP8, Synergis, Intrepid, or Prominis. - 5+ years of experience in the electronic or semiconductor industry. - Advanced electrical, mechanical, and overall system knowledge spanning hardware, software, and process. - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and familiarity with SAP.
