About the role
This role involves conducting EMC tests for radiated and conducted emissions and immunity according to various international standards, and maintaining the lab's operation and equipment calibration.
What you'll do
- Conduct EMC measurements for radiated and conducted tests according to a test plan.
- Consult internal customers on EMC test plans, test setups, and measurement techniques.
- Work with internal customers to identify EMC-related issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Assist with the development and improvement of EMC test procedures, tools, and processes.
- Stay current on relevant EMC standards, industry practices, and emerging technologies.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus in communications engineering, along with 7.5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in EMC testing and/or RF testing.
- Familiarity with automotive EMC standards and common EMC test setups on component and IC level.
- Proficiency with advanced RF measurement techniques and respective laboratory test & measurement devices.
Nice to have
- Experience with a control SW for automated EMC testing.
- Experience with script language programming, e.g., Python.
