About the role
This role involves working as a Systems Engineer to identify ideal roadmap opportunities and define new products and platforms based on market opportunities.
What you'll do
- Research and create new product definitions, including business case proposals and product strategies.
- Analyze key end-equipment in automotive, industrial, consumer, and computing spaces to identify future trends and improvement opportunities.
- Assess and negotiate IC development tradeoffs with the design team and customers.
- Provide technical expertise responsible for product ramp up for the customer.
- Conduct silicon system evaluation (hardware, software if needed) and create related documentation.
- Provide application support for newly introduced and existing products.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, ECE, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of RF sensing architectures and their applications.
- Signal processing and system analysis using MATLAB/Python.
Nice to have
- Experience in driving design wins with customers by providing system solutions.
- Experience with MIMO modulations (e.g., DDM) in FMCW Radars and Radar signal processing techniques.
- Experience with power management in embedded systems.
- Experience with antenna design and characterization.
- Familiarity with lab equipment, e.g., spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, RF chamber.
- Familiarity with TI mmwave Radar ICs.
- Familiarity with TI DSP, embedded C-programming, and ARM architecture.
