About the role
As a Senior Engineer, Global Product Management at ASM International, you will lead product initiatives across the full product lifecycle from concept to commercialization. You will work closely with global customers and internal engineering teams to deliver semiconductor manufacturing equipment solutions.
What you'll do
- Lead products across the product lifecycle from initial concept through high-volume manufacturing to end-of-life, maintaining roadmaps across a portfolio. - Own and maintain product definition, configuration, and options to support customer requests and manufacturing execution. - Develop and manage Market Requirements Specification (MRS) documents to guide development priorities and customer alignment. - Lead technical customer interactions, market and competitive analyses, and go-to-market strategies for new product introduction (NPI). - Partner with finance to assess product viability using NPV and IRR models while maintaining cost-of-ownership frameworks. - Partner with development teams on technical specifications, demo requests, and strategic supplier relationships.
What you'll need
- 3–10 years of experience in technical marketing within semiconductor, capital equipment, or related industries. - Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Material Science, Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). - Strong background in semiconductor processes, hardware, or device technologies. - Deep understanding of capital equipment systems and their applications. - Proven track record of direct customer engagement and supplier management.

- Experience with ALD, CVD, Epi, or vacuum systems.
