Design and integrate electronic connectivity solutions for EUV source and lithography systems.

About the role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design, integration, and validation of electronic connectivity solutions for ASML's EUV source and lithography systems. You will drive electrical architecture decisions across PCBAs, cabling, interconnects, racks, and subsystem interfaces while ensuring compliance with EMC, signal integrity, and reliability requirements.

What you'll do

- Lead the development of submodule electrical connectivity architectures, including PCBAs, cables, harnesses, racks, cabinets, and subsystem interconnects. - Design, review, and qualify PCBAs for control, monitoring, and communication applications, maintaining Cable Overview (CO) and Detailed Wiring (DW) diagrams. - Drive EMC/EMI compliance across the product lifecycle, defining mitigation strategies, design rules, and layout constraints for signal integrity, grounding, and shielding. - Support schematic capture, component selection, design verification, and root-cause failure analysis at the board, module, and system levels. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, system architects, and suppliers to deliver robust electronic hardware solutions.

What you'll need

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. - Minimum of 10 years of industry experience in electronic hardware development. - Minimum of 5 years of experience designing PCBAs and electronic modules for industrial, semiconductor, aerospace, medical, automotive, or similarly demanding applications. - Demonstrated experience developing electrical connectivity solutions, including cables, harnesses, racks, enclosures, and interconnect systems. - Hands-on experience with EMC/EMI design techniques, regulatory standards (such as IEC, EN, CISPR, FCC, or CE), and qualification testing. - Experience with laboratory test equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers, along with high-speed digital interfaces such as Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, or PCIe.

Nice to have

- Experience using hardware design and schematic capture tools such as Capital, XPedition, or Altium Designer. - Knowledge of semiconductor equipment, industrial automation, motion control, or precision mechatronic systems.

Skills: board-level hardware, electrical modules, analog design, digital design, signal integrity
