About the role
This role focuses on building infrastructure to align NVIDIA chips from specification to shipment within the Silicon Co-Design Group, specifically coordinating system and manufacturing test specifications through production release for GPU, SoC, and CPU programs.
What you'll do
- Define manufacturing specification types, including schema and semantics, derived from system PORs and features.
- Develop production-grade Python pipelines and automated checks to prevent specification drift between system POR and manufacturing test programs (ATE, SLT, BLT, L10+).
- Integrate workflow into end-to-end program milestones and define TPM-driven attestation.
- Integrate tooling into an agent-ready harness, including CLIs, MCPs, bug/spec retrieval, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and CI gates running against real silicon workflows.
- Drive adoption of SMAC methodology and tooling across Post Silicon (Prod), Operations, and DFX (DFT/DFP) teams.
What you'll need
- BS, MS, or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering.
- 8+ years in system software, silicon bring-up, or productization engineering.
- Strong Python and systems skills with experience shipping production services and data pipelines.
- Deep understanding of the specification ecosystem: system POR, guard-bands, manufacturing screen specs, and test insertion constraints.
- A proven track record of cross-org influence, re-defining workflows, and applying AI with judgment to reviewable artifacts.

How we counted: 2514 open Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering (Manufacturing Equipment) roles from 80 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 18 Oct 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Process, Fab & Equipment family row.
