About the role
This role develops algorithmic solutions for image modeling and processing within the reticle product division (RAPID). Work spans requirements gathering, concept formulation, prototyping, and productization for reticle inspection systems.
What you'll do
- Develop algorithmic solutions for image modeling and processing through concept formulation, prototyping, and productization. - Identify technical bottlenecks and balance algorithmic sophistication with computational complexity using data analysis. - Engage with systems, optics, sensors, and software teams to co-optimize algorithms across sub-systems. - Collaborate with engineering peers to maintain technical rigor and development agility. - Support field teams and customers during algorithm deployments on inspection systems, including occasional international travel.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience, Master's degree with 6+ years of related experience, or Doctorate degree with 3+ years of related experience. - Experience in C++ production software development and object-oriented programming.
Nice to have
- Master's or Ph.D. in Applied Math, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Work experience in image processing, machine learning, or deep learning in advanced imaging systems. - Knowledge of imaging system modeling for optical or electron beam systems.
