About the role
This internship focuses on developing architectures and heterogeneous integration for Keysight compound semiconductor ICs.
What you'll do
- Apply coursework and research knowledge to process development efforts.
- Focus on processes such as metal plating, metal and dielectric CMP, lithography, and ILD dry etching.
- Gain and apply knowledge about Keysight's industry, infrastructure, and products.
- Support process development, improve process performance, and troubleshoot technical issues.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field connected to semiconductor fabrication.
- Experience with advanced microelectronics processes.
- Hands-on laboratory experience in semiconductor processing.
- Experience with statistical design of experiments.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Direct experience with silicon semiconductor processing.
- Hands-on laboratory experience in wet processes such as solvent strip, wet etch, electroplating, or related chemical processing.
- Experience with analytical or metrology tools such such as SEM, profilometry, XRF, or similar techniques.
