About the role
This role is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across CVD equipment toolsets in the Chandler Fab. The position primarily supports AMAT Centura 5200, AMAT P5000, AMAT Producer, Novellus Concept 2 STI, Watkins Johnson 999, Rigaku XRF 3650, and Edwards Abatement systems.
What you'll do
- Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, consumable changes, and repairs on electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. - Troubleshoot, diagnose equipment alarms, interpret operational data, and create action plans for CVD toolsets. - Apply root-cause problem-solving techniques to resolve equipment issues in a high-volume manufacturing environment. - Interface with internal and external teams while strictly following safety protocols for hazardous chemicals. - Maintain operational records, complete required equipment documentation, and train others as needed. - Work compressed shifts (including night shifts), standing for up to 12 hours, stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
What you'll need
- Understanding of SPC, 5S, and FDC systems. - Ability to diagnose equipment alarms and read operational data on semiconductor toolsets. - Ability to follow strict safety protocols when working around hazardous chemicals. - Physical ability to stand for up to 12 hours, work in confined spaces, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds. - AA, AS, or AAS degree in electronics or a mechanical discipline, or equivalent experience/military training.
