About the role
Teradyne is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer in San Diego, California to manage and grow customer accounts and influence product roadmaps. This position focuses on driving test solutions for chipsets and datacenter applications.
What you'll do
- Manage and grow business with established and new customer accounts.
- Identify and qualify opportunities, manage competitive sales processes, forecast, quote, and book orders.
- Develop and implement sales strategies using strategic sales tools and processes.
- Coordinate sales strategies globally for assigned customers, collaborating with worldwide test subcontract sales teams.
- Align customer requirements with Teradyne product roadmaps.
- Travel 25% or more as required.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in capital equipment sales or marketing within Semiconductor, Test & Measurement, ATE, SLT, Datacenter/AI, or a related industry.
- Significant ATE or production test experience.
- Proven ability to drive long sales-cycle design-ins.
- Ability to translate customer needs into effective technical solutions.
