About the role
This Co-Op role involves hands-on exposure to RF integrated circuit design and laboratory characterization within a multidisciplinary engineering organization.
What you'll do
- Support the design, simulation, evaluation, and characterization of RF and analog integrated circuits and wireless front-end modules.
- Perform laboratory measurements and analyze data to assess circuit and product performance.
- Contribute to the development of RF circuits and components used in wireless applications, including Wi-Fi.
- Assist with new product introduction, engineering development, and design activities.
- Use simulation and circuit-design tools to support analysis and development activities.
- Document technical findings, test results, and design work.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics, or a closely related field.
- Available to work full-time onsite in Ottawa from January through December 2027.
- Solid understanding of fundamental electronic circuits and principles.
- Interest in RF and analog integrated circuit design, simulation, and laboratory measurement.
- Familiarity with semiconductor device operation and integrated circuit technologies.
- Experience with engineering tools such as Cadence, Keysight ADS, or Ansys HFSS.
