About the role
Texas Instruments is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, improvements, upgrades, and installations on Factory SubFab Equipment.
What you'll do
- Perform corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment failures and poor performance. - Improve system performance to meet process requirements and eliminate repetitive tool downtime. - Monitor and analyze tool performance data to address equipment-related issues. - Coordinate supplier service and repairs when needed. - Interface with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to resolve equipment issues.
What you'll need
- High School diploma or GED. - Must be 18 years of age or older. - 2 years of vacuum experience as a Technician. - Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule. - Flexibility to work day or night shift, including one weekend shift and holidays.
Nice to have
- Troubleshooting experience on electrical/mechanical systems.
