About the role
This role involves the design and validation of RF and wireless systems for Apple's products, including iPhones, Watches, and iPads.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the design validation for different wireless technologies from prototyping to mass production.
- Design calibration routines and test algorithms.
- Contribute to a multi-faceted test software suite.
- Analyze wireless performance data with internal teams and external partners.
- Address technical challenges to deploy wireless features with quality.
What you'll need
- BS in Electrical Engineering plus 2 years of industrial experience in RF / Wireless Industry.
- Understanding of RF Transceiver Blocks, Communications theory, or RF Parameters.
- Familiarity with RF/wireless test equipment and associated RF measurements.
- Ability to read and write clean, clear, efficient, and understandable code in C, C++, or Python.
- Willingness to travel internationally and domestically (~15%).
Nice to have
- MSEE.
- 5+ Years of industry experience.
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and scalable software design principles.
- Recent experience in developing test solutions for wireless RF standards (e.g., WiFi 802.11xx, Bluetooth 5.0, 5G, NFC, UWB).
- Familiarity with tools that enable high volume manufacturing of these technologies.
- Experience in breaking down complex problems and evaluating tradeoffs.
