About the role
This role involves the design and validation of RF and wireless systems across Apple’s newest products including iPhones, Watches, iPads.
What you'll do
- Engage in design validation for wireless technologies from prototyping to mass production.
- Design calibration routines and test algorithms.
- Contribute to a multi-faceted test software suite.
- Collaborate with chipset manufacturers, test equipment vendors, and in-house antenna and RFHW design teams.
- Analyze wireless performance data to address technical challenges for wireless features.
What you'll need
- BS in Electrical Engineering plus 2 years of industrial experience in RF / Wireless Industry.
- Understanding of RF Transceiver Blocks, Communications theory, or RF Parameters.
- Familiarity with RF/wireless test equipment and associated RF measurements.
- Ability to read and write code in C, C++, or Python.
Nice to have
- MSEE.
- 5+ Years of industry experience.
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and scalable software design principles.
- Recent experience in developing test solutions for current and upcoming wireless RF standards (e.g. WiFi 802.11xx, Bluetooth 5.0, 5G, NFC, UWB).
- Familiarity with tools that enable high volume manufacturing of these technologies.
- Ability to break down complex problems and evaluate tradeoffs between proposed solutions.
