About the role
Skyworks is seeking a Research Engineering Intern within the High Performance Analog business group.
What you'll do
- Assist in the hands-on development of semiconductor materials and devices and/or heterogeneous microelectronics assembly processes
- Perform device and materials characterization, testing, measurements, and correlation
- Conduct failure analysis
- Perform data generation and analysis
- Document and present results to the project team
What you'll need
- Current enrollment in an accredited program seeking a PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Chemistry, and/or Material Sciences Engineering
- Hands-on process development skills
- Familiarity or expertise with semiconductor device and wafer-level processes, electrical/thermal/mechanical design and modeling, or advanced materials
- Familiarity or expertise with FIB/SEM/SAM/IR/XRAY analysis
- Familiarity with statistical data analysis tools such as Spotfire, Minitab, or Excel
