About the role

This internship involves contributing to radio systems and test activities within Qorvo's Connectivity and Sensors business group.

What you'll do

• Create automated test software using Python, C, and LabVIEW to control test equipment and SoCs under test.
• Assist in the design and development of test hardware solutions for complex analog, RF, and digital measurements, including PCB design.
• Perform test equipment evaluation and down selection.
• Support analog, RF, and digital characterization testing and data analysis for Qorvo SoC products.
• Measure SoC products and test devices using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, logic analyzers, and digital pattern generators.
• Process, verify, and analyze measured data, producing presentations and reports using automation.
• Develop custom tool sets for data visualization, big data analysis, lab efficiency tracking, and lean manufacturing metrics.

What you'll need

• Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Analog/RF/Digital design coursework and/or experience.
• Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, logic analyzers and digital pattern generators.
• EDA Software exposure: ADS, HFSS, Altium, Allegro, Matlab.
• Scripting/Programming exposure: Python, C, Bash, VB, or other object-oriented language.
