About the role
The R&D Hardware Engineer, Intern will be part of the VNA R&D HW hardware team, participating in RF/uW or digital hardware designs of sub-systems and circuits for products in the PNA family.
What you'll do
- Participate in RF/uW hardware designs of sub-systems and circuits
- Participate in digital hardware designs of sub-systems and circuits
- Contribute in various areas of electrical engineering
What you'll need
- Enrolled in a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree program in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of RF electronics
- Basic knowledge of signal processing
- Basic knowledge of measurements
- Ability to learn technologies in modern communication systems
- Ability to learn technologies in test equipment
Nice to have
- Experience in design for digital and analog circuits
- Experience in troubleshooting for digital and analog circuits
- Extensive background in mathematics
- Extensive background in algorithms
- Experience in at least one programming language such as C++, C#, or Python
- Experience in the use of oscilloscopes
- Experience in the use of network analyzers
- Experience in the use of spectrum analyzers
- Experience in the use of signal generators
