About the role

This role involves the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of AMD's Quality Management System (QMS) in a fabless semiconductor environment. This position will contribute to modernizing and transforming quality and business workflows using scalable processes through innovative software solutions, cloud technologies, intelligent automation, and artificial intelligence.

What you'll do

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Develop, review, and update quality procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.
  • Investigate non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions (CAPA).
  • Collect and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare reports for management reviews and quality performance dashboards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure quality requirements are met.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Industrial) or related field.
  • Experience in Quality Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Experience with fabless semiconductor processes.

Nice to have

  • 1-2 years of experience in Quality Management Systems within semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with quality tools (FMEA, 8D, 5-Why Root Cause Analysis).
  • Proficiency in QMS software and data analysis tools.
  • Proficient with Visio Flowcharting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Experience with supplier quality management.
