About the role

This role involves overseeing the Intel site construction quality assurance program and project quality systems for semiconductor construction projects. The scope includes Progressive Build, Tool Install, new factories, and site infrastructure.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement a complete Construction Quality Management Plan.
  • Develop a 3rd party resource plan for inspection, testing, and system teams.
  • Review and approve Quality Assurance Plans and Construction Project Execution Plans from contractors.
  • Respond to and document quality issue notifications, ensuring onsite construction conforms to drawings, codes, and specifications.
  • Ensure 3rd Party inspectors perform work to their Scope of Work and budget.
  • Ensure contractors comply with Intel Master Construction Specifications and contracted documents through onsite walks.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering field.
  • 4+ years of work experience in Construction Management or Quality Assurance/Quality Control with a Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years with a Master's degree.
  • 6+ years of experience in Construction Management, Construction Quality Assurance/Quality Control.

Nice to have

  • Experience in construction testing and standards.
  • Project management skills and leadership ability to manage multiple firms.
  • Process, mechanical, and civil testing background.
  • Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • BIM360.
