About the role

This role involves supporting the testing of incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using advanced metrology tools.

What you'll do

• Conduct laboratory testing of incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using advanced metrology tools.
• Follow work instructions for laboratory test methods and implement improvements.
• Record data and results in specified data management systems accurately.
• Maintain laboratory instruments, conduct long-term stability measurements, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Resolve testing or data issues by evaluating large datasets to identify corrective actions.
• Contribute to the creation, revision, and review of laboratory work instructions.

What you'll need

• High School diploma or equivalent with 3+ years experience in an industrial laboratory, or an associate’s degree in a relevant field with 1+ year experience in an industrial laboratory.
• General knowledge of quality systems and laboratory best practices.
• Prior experience maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology) with previous experience working in a quality laboratory or other scientific laboratory.
• Previous hands-on experience working with and maintaining metrology equipment.
• Knowledge of proper safe handling/disposal of potentially dangerous substances (flammable liquids, corrosives, and toxic compounds).
• Working knowledge of MS Office including proficiency in Excel.
