About the role
This role involves leading continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence and exceed customer expectations. You will work on wet etch and clean systems used in advanced chip packaging and AI workloads.
What you'll do
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues in complex electromechanical systems.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as 8D and FMEA.
- Act as the voice of quality in NPI (New Product Introduction) gate reviews and design decisions.
- Analyze production and field data to identify trends, drive root cause analysis, and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relevant to program and company objectives.
- Partner with Supplier Quality and vendors to leverage Failure Analysis learnings in improvement efforts.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Expertise in quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, 5Why Analysis, Fishbone/Ishikawa Diagrams, and SPC.
- Strong analytical skills with a foundation in statistics and data analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Nice to have
- Capital equipment manufacturing experience.
- Semiconductor industry experience.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, Power BI, Sigma Solutions).
