About the role
As a Qualification Execution Engineer, your primary role is to provide support for customer qualifications on our datacenter SSD products during the product qualification phase.
What you'll do
- Install and configure qualification infrastructure for testing
- Drive execution of customer qualifications according to schedule
- Perform initial failure triage on any issues found during qualifications
- Use defect ticket tracking systems to provide responsive support for debug tasks
- Drive issues to resolution through iterative testing and analysis
What you'll need
- BS degree in engineering or equivalent of minimum of 2+ years hands-on experience with SSDs and/or platform hardware testing
- Strong understanding of computer system architecture fundamentals
- Platform-level troubleshooting skills to include run/break/fix capabilities and issue isolation
- Experience triaging issues in Windows and/or Linux server operating systems
- Experience developing Python/PowerShell/Bash scripts
- Familiarity with data manipulation/analysis (spreadsheets or more advanced tools)
Nice to have
- Experience with PCIe/NVMe protocols, including analyzer and power measurement tools
- Experience with SSD performance measurement tools and methodologies
- Experience with SSD test system usage
