About the role
This role involves ensuring products and services meet quality standards and customer requirements.
What you'll do
- Analyze customer feedback and complaints to identify product quality issues.
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions using the 8D process.
- Support customer quality activities including corrective actions, complaint management, and customer communications.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, and New Product Introduction teams to improve product quality.
- Analyze quality data and communicate trends, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership.
- Participate in new product introduction, product transfer, and manufacturing scale-up activities.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of Customer Quality or Product Quality Engineering experience.
- Experience applying SPC, Process Capability Analysis, FMEA, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience leading root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions using an 8D approach.
- Experience working with manufacturing teams in a production environment.
- Experience interacting with Customers and managing Quality related interactions.
- Strong understanding of quality engineering principles and methodologies.
- Experience with quality management systems and ISO-based manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality data analysis tools.
