About the role
The QA Lab Analyst Co-Op will support the daily workflow of the QA lab and be the point of contact for R&D ongoing projects.
What you'll do
- Comprehend current test science and significance
- Perform daily tests using existing methods
- Research and propose improvements
- Execute feasibility studies for new ideas
- Summarize findings in reports
- Support R&D ongoing projects
What you'll need
- In pursuit of a bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, biology or other science related majors
- General chemistry and organic chemistry courses, especially with chemistry lab experience
- Strong interest in learning advanced analytical chemistry tools
- Solid chemistry knowledge foundation and lab skills
- Currently enrolled student available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
- Familiarity with university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program
