About the role
The Program Manager leads the execution of cross-functional engineering programs in a fully on-site role. You will work closely with design, test, validation, and operations teams to establish program schedules, monitor dependencies, and track deliverables.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end planning and execution of cross-functional engineering programs, including scope, schedule, milestones, dependencies, and resources.
- Build and maintain integrated program schedules in MS Project, including critical path, baselines, and what-if analysis.
- Configure and manage Jira projects, boards, and workflows while tracking engineering tasks, issues, and action items to closure.
- Maintain program documentation, requirements, meeting notes, decision logs, and status reports in Confluence.
- Run core team meetings and program reviews, identifying, tracking, and mitigating technical, schedule, and resource risks.
- Prepare and present program dashboards and status reports for engineering managers and executive leadership.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or another engineering discipline, or a related technical field.
- 4–7 years of program or project management experience, with at least 2 years managing engineering programs in a hardware, semiconductor, or high-tech environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing products through the full product life cycle, from concept and development through qualification and volume production.
- Hands-on proficiency with MS Project (detailed schedules, dependencies, critical path, baselines), Jira (workflows, dashboards, reporting), and Confluence.
- Strong ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams, communicate technical status, and manage competing priorities.
Nice to have
- Experience managing optoelectronics programs.
- Working knowledge of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and DOE (Design of Experiments) methodologies.
- PMP, PgMP, or Agile/Scrum certification.
