About the role

This role involves operating various handlers and testers in Microchip Technology's Colorado Springs Probe/Test semiconductor facility, ensuring production tasks are completed accurately on the 2nd shift.

What you'll do

• Learn to operate various handlers and testers on the Test floor.
• Understand verbal and written instructions to complete lots via COMETS and SPTRs.
• Communicate with appropriate personnel regarding equipment and process issues.
• Perform repetitive work while maintaining focus on detail.
• Adhere to work specifications for each piece of equipment.

What you'll need

• High School diploma or GED.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks, paying careful attention to detail.
• Prior success working individually and in a team environment.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and support multiple demands.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal directions.
• Good computer, math, and reading comprehension skills.
• Flexibility to work M-F 2:45pm-11:15pm shift and move to compressed scheduling (A, B, C, or D shift, including weekends) when needed.
• Ability to wear and work in a smock, PPE, and ESD strap during shift.
• Ability to stand 95%, walk 90%, and sit 5% of the time, and lift/carry 6lbs.
• Ability to push and pull up to 85lbs to move handlers.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in written and oral communication.
