About the role
This role involves product RF design, integration, and manufacturing for wireless products. You will be part of a team developing current and future generations of Apple products.
What you'll do
- Develop RF architecture, design, and integration for wireless products.
- Perform electromagnetic and system simulation.
- Conduct hands-on prototyping, test, and measurement.
- Understand complex system and sub-system interactions.
- Evaluate product level design and manufacturing trade-offs for mass production.
What you'll need
- BSEE or equivalent education.
- Coursework or experience in antenna design, RF design, wireless communications, EM, or circuits.
- Knowledge of EM, RF, or antenna design.
- Knowledge of integration of wireless technologies such as cellular, GPS, Wifi, and NFC into products.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of electromagnetic simulation tools.
- Hands-on experience with RF lab instrumentation.
- Ability to debug desense issues and characterize noise sources.
- Experience with production environment and statistical analysis.
