Define, build, and scale the Data Center System and Manageability Software Portfolio for Intel Datacenter GPUs.

About the role

This role involves leading the strategy and execution for system software, firmware, telemetry, and out-of-band/in-band manageability capabilities. The focus is on ensuring hyperscale and enterprise infrastructure operates reliably, securely, and efficiently at scale for Intel Datacenter GPUs.

What you'll do

  • Define multi-generational product roadmaps for system software, firmware (UEFI/BMC), telemetry, and orchestration interfaces across data center GPU products.
  • Partner with silicon, platform hardware, firmware, OS, and cloud software engineering teams to align architectural dependencies and platform release schedules.
  • Drive technical discovery with cloud service providers (CSPs), enterprise customers, and OEMs/ODMs to translate infrastructure operational pain points into product requirements (PRDs).
  • Champion standard-based manageability (e.g., Redfish, OpenBMC, PLDM) and telemetry pipelines for platform observability, control, and security at hyperscale.
  • Own the complete lifecycle from PRD generation and engineering sprint prioritization to platform bring-up, validation, security patching, and end-of-life planning.

What you'll need

  • 4+ years dedicated to technical product management in data center infrastructure, server platforms, or systems software.
  • Deep domain expertise in server architecture, BMC firmware (OpenBMC), UEFI/BIOS, RAS (Reliability, Availability, Serviceability), out-of-band management, and platform security (Root of Trust, SPDM).
  • Familiarity with industry standards including DMTF Redfish, IPMI, MCTP, PLDM, and PCIe / CXL manageability.
  • Demonstrated success taking system software or platform firmware solutions from concept to high-volume production deployment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience.

Nice to have

  • Practical experience designing manageability tools for hyperscale data centers or hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI).
  • Active engagement with open-source firmware and hardware initiatives (e.g., Open Compute Project / OCP, Linux Foundation).
  • Background in edge-to-cloud telemetry streaming, platform health modeling, or predictive failure analysis using machine learning.
