About the role
This role owns the independent installation and commissioning of new tools at customer sites to achieve production-ready equipment within defined cycle times.
What you'll do
- Own the installation of new tools at customer sites independently following standard operating procedures, practices, and policies.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex system-level problems during installations using standard procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and install BKMs.
- Manage installation administrative duties, including field service reports, daily pass downs on progress and non-conformances, and post-activity Quality Feedback Reports.
- Escalate unresolved system issues with documented actions and data to coordinate specialized support.
- Provide technical guidance, phone/on-site support, and basic POAs to assist junior engineers at customer sites.
- Complete 80% to 90% domestic and international travel by commercial transportation to support customer accounts.
What you'll need
- 3 years of experience in semiconductor or a related field, or equivalent military service experience.
- US Citizenship.
- Ability to travel 80% to 90% domestically and internationally for extended periods with valid travel documentation.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing complex system-level equipment issues.
