Product Engineer - Singapore

This role supports the KLA Instruments Auto-Metrology, Profilers, and Optical Profilers product families.
About the role
As a Product Engineer, you will influence the Product Service Life Cycle (SLC) to optimize KLA’s service business. This includes supporting the Auto-Metrology, Profilers, and Optical Profilers product families.
What you'll do
- Build expertise in overall system operation, integration, and calibrations/diagnostics.
- Sustain product critical customer issues, analyze data, and develop detailed plans of action.
- Assist KLA Service's training organization in improving knowledge and training infrastructure for mature products.
- Analyze spares obsolescence risk and coordinate with the Spares Planning team to mitigate Service supply chain risk.
- Collaborate with Operations Quality and Spares Planning Team to resolve part quality issues from the field.
- Support planning for retrofits, including serviceability validation and resource availability.
- Evaluate serviceability for Requests for Engineering (RFEs) and custom models.
What you'll need
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
- Expertise in Basic Microsoft Software Packages.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies, processes, and techniques.
Nice to have
- Capital Equipment experience in KLA Instruments or similar Semiconductor Industry.
- Understanding Python, Power BI, SQL Server, and Excel.
- Project Management Experience.
- Demonstrated experience with manufacturing control systems (ERP, PLM) and customer management systems (CRM).
- Comfort with data analysis.
- MS Project and Visio experience.
