About the role
You will directly contribute to the Dielectric Etch Team.
What you'll do
- Engineer semiconductor equipment and process design solutions to resolve customer issues and improve product quality.
- Support product development from prototyping, development, deployment, and initial field support.
- Design and conduct experiments, tests, and prototypes to resolve complex technical problems.
- Create clear and concise reports to present analysis and support technical recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to guide product specification and development.
- Provide technical support for installation and/or diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex product issues.
- Maintain customer engagement, including face-to-face interactions and international travel to customer sites.
- Work in a cleanroom lab and/or customer semiconductor fab environment.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of experience; or a PhD with no previous professional experience; or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional analytical and experimental design skills.
- Clear communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time.
Nice to have
- Product design and technical engineer experience.
- Experience designing, specifying, building, operating, and maintaining semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, or related hardware, tools, and equipment.
- Experience coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams.
- Creative thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
