About the role
This role involves evaluating and monitoring wafer fabrication operations to maintain the wet etch process and process equipment. The technician will investigate routine problems and initiate action to resolve them.
What you'll do
- Evaluate and monitor wafer fabrication operations.
- Investigate routine problems and initiate action to resolve them.
- Set up, monitor, and adjust process equipment.
- Recover wafers from tool aborts.
- Create measurement recipes.
- Perform in-process control measurements and maintain accurate records.
What you'll need
- Associate's degree (AA/AS) in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
- Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practices and take corrective action.
- Ability to carry out detailed and involved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to evaluate procedures used by line operators and initiate action to resolve problems.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
- Ability to follow established procedure on routine work.
Nice to have
- Minimum of one year of experience working in the semiconductor industry.
