About the role
As a Process Technician 3 at Lam Research, you will support process development, product development, and R&D by setting up processing equipment, conducting technical experiments, and processing test runs. You will focus on supporting engineering teams working on etch and deposition products.
What you'll do
- Support Process Engineers in preparation for wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) tests, equipment setup, experiments, data collection, and sample submissions. - Operate processing equipment and advanced tools using engineering recipes to collect results, capture measurements (e.g., thin film, CD, wafer disposition performance), and analyze chemistry properties. - Process test runs and prepare records, charts, and schematics of results to present yield optimization areas to engineering. - Provide technical assistance to process development teams and process engineers. - Assist in technical troubleshooting and improvement opportunities for application lab tools and experiment setups.
What you'll need
- 2-4 years of related experience. - Associate degree in a technical field, Technical Certificate, Diploma or higher in semiconductors, electronics, chemistry, mechanical, or a related field. - Ability to work in a clean room environment wearing personal protective safety equipment (PPE), cleanroom suit, or smock. - Foundational communication skills, reading, and writing in English. - Ability to work a shift schedule.
