About the role
TSMC Arizona is seeking a Process Integration Engineer (PIE) to support new product introduction, device performance, yield, and reliability across advanced manufacturing technologies. The role interfaces with device, product engineering, lithography, etch, and thin films process teams to implement integrated solutions across N4, N3, and N2 process technologies.
What you'll do
- Manage new product qualification and technology transfers from a mother fab. - Perform big data analysis to identify process design weaknesses and manufacturing tool issues. - Design, execute, and analyze experiments to improve yield and performance for specific products. - Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain process stability and deliver technical solutions to customers. - Participate in scheduled night shifts, swing shifts (3:30 PM to 12:00 AM), and weekend on-call rotations in a 24/7 high-volume manufacturing environment.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, or Physics. - Experience improving silicon process flows across front-end-of-line (FEOL), middle-end-of-line (MEOL), and back-end-of-line (BEOL). - Experience evaluating process shifts, design rule changes, and product layout modifications, along with their impact on function yield, electrical test, product performance, and reliability. - Legal eligibility to work in the United States and ability to work on-site at the Phoenix, Arizona facility.
