Process Manager, Plasma Etch
About the role
This role involves leading and developing a team of process engineers and technicians within the dry etch area, focusing on sustaining operations, process control, and process/equipment improvements.
What you'll do
- Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a team of process engineers and technicians in dry etch.
- Ensure sustaining operations, process control, and equipment improvements.
- Drive capacity expansion, process development, and technology transfers.
- Initiate quality enhancements and cost reduction initiatives.
- Monitor and control dry etch processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
What you'll need
- PhD or M.S. degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science.
- 5+ years of experience in a semiconductor fab with emphasis in the dry etch area.
- Experience leading and mentoring teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of dry etch principles, theories, concepts, materials, applications, and techniques.
- Strong working knowledge of advanced CMOS and RF wafer processing technologies and processes.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of ACE, 8D problem solving methodology, PROMIS WIP management and JMP statistical analysis software.
- Experience with design of experiment techniques and data analysis.
