About the role
This full-time intern position involves hands-on process engineering projects in semiconductor manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Work on projects involving Evaporation, CVD, PVD, thin film depositing, Electroplating, plasma etch, Dry/Wet Etch, Photolithography, Wafer Dicing, or CMP.
- Collect data using various metrology tools.
- Analyze data using software such as Spotfire and Excel.
- Troubleshoot processes and optimize recipes.
- Design and execute fab engineering trials.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Semiconductor coursework and/or experience, including standard processing techniques (PVD, CVD, lithography, dry/wet etch, CMP).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Interest in "hands on" engineering work in a clean room facility.
- 8 month availability to work onsite starting in January 2027.
Nice to have
- Experience with Spotfire.
