About the role
This full-time internship focuses on process engineering projects within semiconductor manufacturing. Interns will work on projects involving various processing techniques such as CVD, PVD, and photolithography.
What you'll do
- Work on projects involving Evaporation, CVD, PVD, thin film depositing, Electroplating, plasma etch, Dry/Wet Etch, Photolithography, Wafer Dicing, or CMP
- Collect data using various metrology tools
- Analyze data using software like Spotfire and Excel
- Troubleshoot processes and optimize recipes
- Design and execute fab engineering trials
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Semiconductor coursework and/or experience, including standard processing techniques (PVD, CVD, lithography, dry/wet etch, CMP)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Interest in "hands on" engineering work in a clean room facility
- 8 month availability to work onsite starting in January 2027

- Experience with Spotfire
