About the role
This Process Engineering Intern role is an opportunity for college students to gain real work experience within Qorvo's Global Operations business group.
What you'll do
- Work on projects involving Evaporation, CVD, PVD, thin film depositing, Electroplating, plasma etch, Dry/Wet Etch, Photolithography, Wafer Dicing, or CMP
- Collect data using various metrology tools
- Analyze data using software like Spotfire and Excel
- Troubleshoot processes and optimize recipes
- Design and execute fab engineering trials
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Semiconductor coursework and/or experience, including standard processing techniques (PVD, CVD, lithography, dry/wet etch, CMP)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Interest in "hands on" engineering work in a clean room facility
Nice to have
- Experience with Spotfire
