About the role
This Process Engineering Intern role involves contributing to projects within the package assembly facility and assisting with process optimization.
What you'll do
- Work on projects in the package assembly facility
- Perform process troubleshooting and recipe optimization
- Collect data using various metrology tools
- Analyze data using software such as JMP, Spotfire, or Excel
- Design and execute fab engineering trials
- Contribute to 5S continuous improvement projects
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Interest in "hands on" engineering work in a clean room facility
Nice to have
- Semiconductor coursework and/or experience, including standard processing techniques (Package assembly)
- Experience with 3D printing
- Experience with CAD tools
- Experience with SolidWorks
